As the year draws to a close, with a bit of reluctance somehow, bidding it goodbye and saying hello to another year of wisdom and experience.

Was pulled by Wendy days ago to her workplace where they had the annual draw-your-wishes-on-I-doubt-its-environmentally-frenly-inflatable-balls-and-release-them-into-the-river-for-an-arts-installation thingy. She got us one of those where we spent like 30 min doing mindless drawing, note: really mindless crap, doodles on the whole ball (others co-share on one ball)..


I only thot of 止 instead of 頂 after submitting.. that panel's co-drawn for JY as Wendy ran off somewhere after one panel. The Huat's from KY.


Mine with an out-of-place building that I drew over Wendy's super huge $ sign. Could have drawn a pencil instead. Haha~ The other one's Wendy's panel.

May 2011 be as good as the Rabbit sayangs the Dog.

Old Loots: Dragon Ball x One Piece x Naruto Unrivaled 3x3 Figure

Left Island: Luffy, Zoro, Sanji

Right Island: Vegeta, Sun Goku, Piccolo

Got these during one of the sale periods from Latendo thinking that it actually has the full set.

NO!!

There's only 10 boxes, but 4 x 3 islands = 12 pieces! Din do my maths properly.. Costed me in the region of $50, and I had the bad luck to have a duplicate of Piccolo and NO Sun Goku and the main piece is not from OP! *Rawrr!*

*Note: The Sun Goku was purchased from one of those shops in Japan. They din have the other main pieces thou.

Last of the Chimakore series. Loads of brownish grub on Cagalli's wedding dress and greenish stuff on Yzak's hair which I rubbed off with antiseptic tissues (thankfully this works).

Old Loots: CharaColleCan - Zoro A & Zoro B

These are probably my first One Piece / Zoro items. Got them at Latendo when it was still at Sunshine Plaza and when I was still crazy over Gundam Seeds.

I rem I got it bcos it was going at $2 each! Hoho. And I dun really noe who he is other than he is some sword-wielding fella (3 katanas somemore!)

These had been camping at my office table for quite a few years until the recent renovation where I stuffed it into the cabinet and finally is willing to bring them home and chuck it somewhere again.

An Aug 2005 release from Plex, which I got it over Ebay sometime back in 2010?

Ah well, I had only Zoro initially since purchasing him individually from a comic shop 3000 years back. Now with the whole set, hmm.. Nami's face doesnt look normal..

And I DROPPED SANJI!!! HE SPLIT FROM THE GLOBE!!! Ahhhhh.....

Believed I bought these at Latendo while they were having some store-wide discount.

A very old (2005) set from Megahouse, they're a bit smaller than I expect thou. And each set is packed in a plastic Going Merry head, which is meant to be sold as gashapon.

Headed over to Orchard Road during my off day to look at the ever-disappointing lightings to see what kind of disappointment I'll get this year.

Oh I believe this was actually part of my trip-to-Orchard-Road-for-Kino-and-look-at-lightings. Brought back a ton of books again.

Old Loots: One Piece Collection Sneaking In! Impel Down!!

Requested this set for my birthday gift exchange back in 2009. The first of the many Impel Down features. Robin and Zoro are out of place in this set since they've already been teleported to other islands by Kuma at the end of the Sabaody arc!

Old Loots: One Piece Collection Landing! Sabaody Archipelago!!

The adventures of Mugiwara crew on Sabaody Islands. Law and Kid makes their first appearance in the SD series.

I would have preferred the inclusion of Duval thou, since Luffy is riding on one of his flying fishes!

Old Loots: One Piece Collection Thriller Bark Night

Got these over Ebay and I'm 80% sure that it's a boot!! Damn!

Had a real hard time fixing them up as some of the joints doesnt fit well, which is characteristic of bootlegs. The colors on them are quite off.


Let alone the lousy printings on the character cards that are in the boxes.



The box looks quite normal from the outside but the packaging inside is kinda oversized!

Argh! Have to open my eyes and read the descriptions carefully the next time. Especially those that comes from HK/China!

Old Loots: One Piece Collection Grand Pirates

Got this out-of-production set from CandyToyo, which came in a Ta-Q Bin (or something) delivery service.

This is the first Super Deformed set that featured Brooke, Edward Newgate, Marshall D. Teech and Monkey D. Garp.

And the Mini Merry II that Nami is riding on is just so cute~ Not forgetting the Mini Thousand Sunny that Chopper is on as well~

STGCC 2010

The mark that costs $15 and grants me passage in and out of the hall.
(If you look ever so carefully, you can find the robot shooting some poison into my veins. No wonder I'm able to find something to buy..)

Made a very last min hastily arranged trip over to STGCC 2010 after procrastinating for most part of the weekend until someone popped the question. And also, there's a book fair and a book sale somewhere around the corner so that's killing quite a few birds together~

Old Loots: One Piece Diorama World Part 3

Bought this over at Earth-X together with the Vs Figures.

I just love how the whole diorama is so colorful! But due to aging/poor quality/watever, the dragon/monster painting behind had to be stuck on using superglue or uhu glue as the adhensives aint working anymore (not to mention that those left a sticky feeling on my fingers but they just aint wanna stick to the plastic!).

Old Loots: Clamp in 3D Land Vol 1

From left: Chii (Chobits), Kudo Kazahaya (Legal Drug), Ichihara Yuuko (XxxHolic), Sakura (Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE) and Li Syaoran (Card Captor Sakura)

This is probably one of the first sets to feature Syaoran, my fav boy in my younger days, which had RR calling me a cradle snatcher. There wasn't much merchandises for Card Captor Sakura in those days as well so this set had me grabbing for Syaoran. (^ ^; )

Old Loots: Gundam Seed Destiny EF Collection 4

Released by Bandai in Nov 2005, the set features the leading 3 couples in their usual getup in the series.

They starting looking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa after all these years and Lunamaria even looks like she's attempting a Micheal Jackson imitation!

Of cos the price was a hefty $75 at that time. (I must have eaten quite a few days of bread.....)

Old Loots: Gundam Seed PF Collection 2

Vol 2 of the Bandai Gundam Seed PF Collection, which arrived in Jan 2006 (see I told you it was pretty long ago!). $40.

Seriously those days, I buy off the shelves and I'll get the sets with Cagalli in them.

Now... I preorder.. Ahhh~ the wonders of Internet! :p

Old Loots: Gundam Seed PF collection 1

Trying to keep track of all my old loots from Latendo, so would be posting several of my old sets, generally Gundams when I was having the Seed/Destiny (Kira x Cagalli) craze long long ago (5 years??).

When Latendo was still at Sunshine Plaza...

And I was still a little kid fresh out of school..

And when the yen exchange is still very favorable to SG. This Bandai set costs probably $30-$40~ It'll probably be in the $40-$50 range if it was manufactured now, just like those One Piece Figure Collection series.

This is definitely not the first set I bought, so there's no chronological order to the production. Simply goes by the first out of the display for me to take photos. Hoho~

Din really take care of them after unboxing and I'm now seeing some discoloration and I-dunno-wat's-that-greeny-thing-that-I-had-gotta-rid-of-in-the-computer-while-doing-post-production. Hmm... these wasn't placed anywhere damp!!

I really need to take care of my toys going forward. Danny Choo says dusting them weekly helps. Hmm I shall try on the BRS and Yamamotos and Canaan sitting on my desktop now.

Kateikyoshi Hitman REBORN! - Box Animal Real collection

Preordered these from Latendo as this seems to be the only set featuring all Team Vongola X's box animals (+ Hibird) at that time.

My favorite trio:
Natsu (Tsuna's box animal, 1st from left),
Uri (Gokudera's box animal, 2nd from left) and
Hibird (Hibari's pet, 3rd from right).

*Note: This came in just as we depart for Japan, so it stayed quite a while at Latendo and another while chucked somewhere while I fixed up the place to hang them.
